The Voigtlander Nokton 75mm f/1.5 Aspherical is a fast manual focus portrait prime for Canon RF mount. The Nokton designation indicates premium optics with an aspherical element. At f/1.5 and 75mm, it provides extraordinary shallow depth of field for portrait work. The Canon RF version features electronic communication for EXIF data and aperture control.

Optical performance is very good. Sharpness is good from f/1.5 with a pleasing rendering character, becoming excellent by f/2.8. The aspherical element controls spherical aberration and coma. Bokeh is smooth and three-dimensional at wider apertures — the primary creative purpose of the f/1.5 speed. The Nokton rendering balances sharpness with character.

Canon RF mount with electronic communication including EXIF data and auto-aperture control. Filter thread is 58mm. Weight is approximately 420 grams — compact for an f/1.5 lens.
