Zeiss's AF macro for Sony E — the Touit 50mm f/2.8 Planar for APS-C close-up work.

The Zeiss Touit 50mm f/2.8 Planar T* Macro is a native autofocus macro prime from the Zeiss Touit line designed for Sony E-mount APS-C mirrorless cameras. The Touit series represents Zeiss's first APS-C mirrorless-native autofocus lenses. The Planar formula is optimised for flat-field macro reproduction.

The lens delivers 50mm (75mm equivalent on APS-C) at f/2.8 maximum aperture with 1:1 macro reproduction, Sony E-mount native autofocus, Zeiss T* anti-reflection coating, and APS-C image circle coverage.

The Touit 50mm macro combines Zeiss optical quality with native Sony E-mount autofocus in a macro prime — a combination that was rare when the Touit series launched. The 75mm APS-C equivalent provides natural working distance for macro subjects. Zeiss T* coating delivers the characteristic clean rendering.
