Zenit's metered SLR — the TTL with through-the-lens metering in M42 mount.

The Zenit TTL is a 35mm SLR from KMZ with through-the-lens metering — the TTL designation refers specifically to this metering capability, which was a feature highlight compared to earlier Zenit models with external meter cells. It uses M42 screw mount.

The Zenit TTL uses M42 screw mount, provides through-the-lens metering (a significant advancement in the Zenit line), and standard mechanical focal-plane shutter operation. Soviet construction quality typical of KMZ production.

The TTL metering capability provides more accurate exposure than the older external-cell approach. M42 mount compatibility gives access to the full M42 ecosystem. These cameras are sometimes found in working condition and usable with current 35mm film.
