Following an application to eBay, our daily API call capacity was increased from 500 to 20,000. This unlocked the ability to retrieve shipping location data for listings, which means we can now show results from European and worldwide eBay marketplaces alongside UK listings.
The eBay sites covered include: Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, France, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, the UK, and the USA.
For each listing, you can see where the item ships from and whether international shipping is available. This is particularly useful for specialist or vintage equipment that may be more readily available in certain markets.
This was a significant technical step — eBay's API rate limits had previously made broad international coverage impractical.
