The Canon EF 600mm f/4L IS II USM launched in 2012 as a major update to Canon's longest super-telephoto prime, dramatically reducing weight while improving IS and optics. The Mark II dropped nearly 1kg from the Mark I.

Optically outstanding — tack-sharp from f/4 with fluorite elements for extraordinary optical quality. IS provides approximately 4 stops. Ring USM for instantaneous AF. The f/4 at 600mm provides excellent light gathering for wildlife and sports.
