Canon's cheapest EF telephoto — basic 80-200mm at entry-level pricing without USM.
The Canon EF 80-200mm f/4.5-5.6 II is one of Canon's cheapest telephoto zoom lenses, covering 80-200mm on full-frame at the absolute minimum cost. The Mark II made minor cosmetic updates over the original.
Optically very basic — acceptable centre sharpness only. Variable f/4.5-5.6. No USM — DC motor AF is audible. No image stabilisation. Adequate for casual outdoor telephoto at the lowest possible price.
Canon EF mount with 52mm filter thread. Very lightweight at approximately 250g. Full-frame coverage. Plastic construction. Minimum focus distance approximately 150cm. No IS.
Essentially free used. Among the cheapest Canon EF lenses ever made. Any modern telephoto zoom dramatically outperforms it. Only useful at throwaway prices.
