Fujifilm's first X-mount camera with IBIS — 24.3MP X-Trans III in a large-grip professional body.
The Fujifilm X-H1 launched in 2018 as the first X-mount camera with in-body image stabilisation (IBIS). It used the 24.3MP X-Trans CMOS III sensor in a larger, more robust body than the X-T2, targeting professional photographers who needed stabilisation.
Image quality matches the X-T2 — 24.3MP X-Trans III with excellent colour science. 5-axis IBIS rated at 5.5 stops — the first for X-mount, transformative for handheld shooting with non-OIS lenses. 325-point hybrid AF. 14fps electronic burst.
Larger body at 673g with deep grip and sub-LCD information display — DSLR-like handling. 3-inch 3-direction tilting touchscreen. 3.69M-dot EVF — highest for X-mount at launch. Dual SD card slots. Full weather sealing.
Available used at mid-range prices — outstanding value for a weather-sealed stabilised X-mount body. The X-T3 improved sensor to X-Trans IV. The X-H2/H2S improved everything further. The X-H1 was important for proving IBIS viability on X-mount.
