Fujifilm's first X-mount camera with IBIS — 24.3MP X-Trans III in a large-grip professional body.
The Fujifilm X-H1 was released in 2018 as the first Fujifilm X-mount body with in-body image stabilisation (IBIS), featuring a 24.3MP X-Trans III APS-C CMOS sensor and 5.5-stop 5-axis IBIS. 4K/30fps video. F-Log recording. NP-W126S battery. At approximately 623g with battery.
24.3MP APS-C X-Trans III CMOS (no OLPF). 5-axis IBIS 5.5 stops. 4K/30fps (no 4K/60fps); 1080p/120fps. F-Log gamma. NP-W126S battery. Top LCD status display. Headphone/microphone inputs. At approximately 623g with battery. Fujifilm X mount.
The X-H1's primary differentiator in the X-system is IBIS: the 5.5-stop in-body stabilisation was a first for Fujifilm X-mount and remains effective for both stills and video work. The 4K/30fps with F-Log and the headphone jack established the X-H1 as Fujifilm's video-oriented body of the era. The X-Trans III sensor without OLPF provides maximum resolving clarity.
On the used market the Fujifilm X-H1 is affordable as an IBIS-equipped Fujifilm X body. Condition checks: IBIS function, NP-W126S battery health, sensor for dust, shutter actuations. No 4K/60fps. Compatible with all Fujifilm X-mount lenses.
