Fujifilm's updated compact mid-range body with improved rear screen and firmware features.
The Fujifilm X-T30 II launched in 2021 as a minor update to the X-T30, primarily upgrading the rear screen resolution and adding updated firmware features. With the same 26.1MP X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor as the X-T3, it delivers flagship image quality in a compact affordable body.
Key changes from the X-T30 include a 1.62M-dot rear screen replacing the 1.04M-dot original, Clarity filter simulation, and firmware improvements. All other specifications including the sensor, processor, AF system, and body design carry over from the X-T30.
The X-T30 II is an extremely marginal upgrade from the X-T30. The original X-T30 at a lower used price is virtually identical for practical purposes. The X-T30 II exists primarily as a production refresh to keep the model current in Fujifilm's lineup.
The original X-T30 at a lower used price is the better value. Check the rear screen resolution to confirm which version you are buying. Both deliver X-T3-class image quality in a compact body and represent outstanding value in the Fujifilm system.
