The Nikon AF-S Nikkor 300mm f/2.8G IF-ED VR is a professional telephoto prime for Nikon F-mount full-frame, available in two VR generations (VR I: ~2004; VR II: 2009 — optically identical, improved VR in the II). Eleven elements in 8 groups with 3 ED elements. Nine rounded aperture blades. No front filter thread — 52mm rear drop-in filter slot. At 2,900g. 2.3m MFD.
