25.2MP MFT Live MOS sensor. 4K/120fps 10-bit 4:2:0; 4K/60fps 10-bit 4:2:2; C4K modes and up to 5.7K in specific ratios; up to 400 Mbps. 7.5-stop IBIS (body alone; Dual I.S.2 with compatible OIS lenses). Active cooling fan for unlimited recording. DMW-BLK22 battery (~420 shots). Approximately 823g with battery and SD card.
The GH6's 4K/120fps and active cooling are the primary advances over the GH5: 4K/120fps enables 5x slow-motion from 4K footage at 24fps playback — a capability the GH5 lacked. The active cooling fan eliminates the thermal throttling that limits recording time on passively-cooled bodies in warm environments. The 7.5-stop IBIS (versus the GH5's 5-axis stabilisation) provides significantly improved handheld stability for both video and stills.
On the used market the Panasonic GH6 is available at professional MFT pricing. Condition checks: cooling fan operation, IBIS function, DMW-BLK22 battery health, dual SD card slots. Compatible with all Micro Four Thirds lenses; Dual I.S.2 active with compatible Panasonic OIS lenses.
