Leica's M6 Classic with 0.85x viewfinder — higher magnification suited to 50mm and longer lenses.

The Leica M6 (0.85, Classic, Black) is a 35mm film rangefinder with the 0.85× high-magnification viewfinder — the highest magnification available on the M6 — and Classic (non-TTL flash) construction, in black chrome finish. 0.85× magnification is preferred for use with longer focal lengths (90mm, 135mm). Leica M mount.

35mm film rangefinder. TTL exposure meter (LED). All-mechanical shutter. 0.85× viewfinder magnification (highest on M6 — clearest framelines for 90mm and 135mm lenses). Classic designation (non-TTL flash construction). Black chrome finish. At approximately 540g. Leica M mount.

The 0.85× viewfinder is the largest magnification in the M6 range, making rangefinder focusing at longer focal lengths (90mm, 135mm) easier due to the more magnified view. Classic (non-TTL) means the hot shoe does not support TTL flash metering (only manual flash via hot shoe). Preferred configuration for M users shooting with longer lenses.
