Optically excellent — HD coating provides outstanding contrast with constant f/2.8 throughout the essential telephoto zoom range. ED glass controls chromatic aberration. DC motor delivers faster and quieter AF than body-driven alternatives on older K-mount bodies.

Pentax K mount with 77mm filter thread at approximately 1755g. All-Weather sealed construction provides full dust and splash protection — essential for outdoor professional use. Quick-shift Focus System enables instant manual focus override during AF operation.
