The Sigma 19mm f/2.8 DN is a compact APS-C wide prime from Sigma's original DN (mirrorless) series, released approximately 2012. Among Sigma's first mirrorless-native lenses, predating the later DN Art and DN Contemporary series. This entry: Sony E (APS-C) mount.
f/2.8 maximum aperture. 19mm focal length (approximately 28.5mm equivalent on APS-C 1.5× crop). Stepping motor AF. 7-blade circular aperture. At approximately 155g. 46mm filter thread. APS-C coverage. Sony E (APS-C) mount.
The original Sigma DN series launched in 2012 as some of the first native mirrorless lenses from a third-party manufacturer. The 19mm f/2.8 provides a near-standard equivalent field of view (28.5mm) on APS-C. At 155g and 46mm filter thread it is exceptionally compact. This design predates Sigma's Global Vision (Art/Contemporary/Sports) reorganisation from 2013 onward.
On the used market the Sigma 19mm f/2.8 DN is a compact and affordable APS-C wide prime for Sony E APS-C cameras. Condition checks: 46mm front element (small diameter — inspect closely for marks), stepping motor AF response. Sony E APS-C mount — will vignette on full-frame Sony FE bodies.
