Fujifilm's compact rangefinder-style APS-C mirrorless with 24.3MP X-Trans III sensor and Bluetooth.
The Fujifilm X-E3 launched in 2017 as a compact rangefinder-style mirrorless camera using the 24.3MP X-Trans CMOS III sensor shared with the X-T2 and X-Pro2. It was the first X-series camera with Bluetooth connectivity and touchscreen AF point selection.
Image quality is excellent — identical to the X-T2. 325-point hybrid AF system with improved algorithms. 14fps electronic or 8fps mechanical burst. Film simulation modes including ACROS for B&W. Good low-light performance with usable results to ISO 6400.
Very compact body at 337g. 3-inch fixed touchscreen. Built-in EVF at 2.36M dots. No built-in flash — external flash via hot shoe. WiFi and Bluetooth. Single SD card slot. 4K 30p video with F-Log. USB 2.0 charging — not USB-C.
Available used at budget to mid-range prices — excellent value. The X-E4 improved with X-Trans IV sensor and tilting screen but was discontinued quickly. The fixed rear screen limits vlogging angles. A beautiful discreet camera for street and travel photography.
