Fujifilm's third-generation X100 — 24.3MP X-Trans III sensor with improved hybrid OVF/EVF and film simulations.
The Fujifilm X100F (2017) is the fourth camera in the X100 series (after X100, X100S, X100T), featuring a 24.3MP X-Trans CMOS III sensor — the same chip as the X-T2 and X-Pro2. It refined the X100 concept of a compact APS-C camera with fixed 23mm f/2 lens and hybrid viewfinder.
Outstanding image quality from the X-Trans III sensor with excellent colour rendition and film simulation modes. Hybrid OVF/EVF with electronic rangefinder overlay. Digital teleconverter crops simulate 50mm and 70mm. AF improved over X100T but still contrast-heavy.
Fixed 23mm f/2 Fujinon lens — 35mm equivalent. No weather sealing. No tilting screen. Built-in ND filter. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Classic manual controls with dedicated dials. 469g weight.
Common used as shooters upgrade to X100V and X100VI. Check the lens for dust and the aperture ring for smooth clicks. The X100V added weather sealing and tilt screen — major quality-of-life improvements. The X100F remains excellent for image quality.
