Fujifilm's iconic fixed-lens compact with weather sealing and a tilting screen.
The Fujifilm X100V was released in 2020 as the fifth generation of the X100 line. With a 26.1MP X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor, a redesigned 23mm f/2 lens, weather sealing (with filter adapter), and a tilting touchscreen, it refined the beloved X100 formula to near-perfection. It became one of the most sought-after cameras of the 2020s.
The redesigned lens is significantly sharper than the X100F's version, with improved close-focus performance and better controlled aberrations. Image quality matches the X-T3 and X-Pro3 with the same sensor. The hybrid OVF/EVF viewfinder is unique to the X100 line. The leaf shutter enables flash sync at all speeds up to 1/4000.
Fujifilm X mount is NOT interchangeable — this is a fixed-lens camera. The 23mm f/2 lens provides a 35mm equivalent perspective. Optional WCL-X100 II wide and TCL-X100 II tele converters modify the field of view. The X100VI succeeded it in 2024 with IBIS and a 40MP sensor.
Very high demand on the used market driven by social media popularity. Prices often exceed original retail. Check the lens elements for dust and fungus, verify the weather sealing adapter ring, test the hybrid viewfinder, and check for any sticky aperture ring issues. The X100VI is technically superior but even harder to find.
